Nothing is more certain than change, and after nearly 7 years at the Barossa Farmers Market, we’ve decided to go with the flow and grow into new possibilities; and as a result our final Farmers Market morning will be Saturday 24th December 2016 selling the week’s fresh roast.
It also signals a change in your Saturday morning coffee cup at the Market, as we believe the Market is a place to showcase stall holders products, we will be stepping aside and no longer supplying our beans to the Market’s Breakfast Bar. We have been blessed to have our coffee shared at the Breakfast Bar for many years as stall holders, and it’s fitting other producers should have the same opportunity. To the barista team of past and present, the care and attention you have shown to our beans and our brand is humbling. Your awareness of the importance of your part in the bigger picture for our region makes us prouder than we can express. Thank you.
This change comes with an enormous amount of smiles for us as a family, shifting and growing into new phases together. Our “people and planet friendly” philosophy of our business has served us well, guiding not only our product and services, but also decisions that ensure our family is nurtured and cared for. Our girls are looking forward to the change and so are we.
It also comes with a full heart of thanks and gratitude for our beloved regulars whom we have got to know so well and become friends with. Your support, laughter and eagerness to learn about coffee over the last 7 years of our seemingly impossible and crazy idea to sell only fresh coffee, has grown BCR into what it is today and we thank you. We have been able to, and will continue to share our values and our philosophy through BCR and we are enormously proud of what the past seven years has created with your support and enthusiasm.
You will as always, be able to access our fresh beans in your weekly shopping trolley at NURIOOTPA Co-op Fresh Foodland and now also at TANUNDA FOODLAND. Any special little batches of our rotating Single Origins can be ordered direct with us via www.barossacoffee.com so we can keep your taste buds travelling around the coffee farms of the world.
A big hooray and thank you to the core philosophy of the Barossa Farmers Market and those that have built the institution on values of honesty, community and inclusion. The Market is place of brave ventures and new brands to plant themselves, test the waters and grow. A place of incubation and hope, and we thank you for the opportunity to partake in this magic. Our family will fondly look back on its time behind the trestle as one that significantly changed our lives, becoming a catalyst for brave adventures like The Breakfast Rave and to be more connected to the community and life. We shall see you in person on the shopping side of the trestle from week to week, possibly after a few Saturday morning sleep ins to grow accustom to our new weekend routine!
We look forward to sharing our moving forward stage with you over the coming months and sharing new developments with BCR. Stay in touch via social media here on Facebook and via instagram where we will continue to share how we see the world whilst roasting coffee in the vines, or if you are going to miss those Saturday morning chats as much as we are, join our coming newsletter by filling in our ‘Stay in Touch’ form at http://www.barossacoffee.com/find-us/ for a deeper connection into what’s ahead!
May your beans be fresh and your cups be full.
All our Love.
Paul, Janelle, Amilie and Lucy Amos.
