One of the three non-volcanic regions of Guatemala, the idyllic coffee growing conditions are thanks to the warm and dry winds that blow towards the mountains from the Mexican plains of Tehuantepec, protecting from frost.

This coffee is grown at an altitude of up to 1700 metres above sea level, there are as many as 79 small producers, with farms averaging 1.5 hectares in size, that contribute to this lot of harvested varieties of Bourbon, Catturra, Typica and Catuai.
