This fully washed coffee is produced by over 3000 smallholder farmers with less than one hectare of land. This group of producers has been organised for a long time, with the families of the community in charge of harvest and the pulping process at home.

Usually each producer dries the coffee in their own patios which is later transported to Tuxtla Gutierrez Chiapas, where the Fejcem Group Mill is located. The parchment milled, cleaned, graded and blended together with the other smallholder lots.

The Fairtrade Certified Casa Comun group has invested in Social Projects including Scholarships and Health programs. All the farmers also receive technical assistance and trainings to maximize the capacity of their coffee plantation and processing
